Picture a watchtower rising above the battlefield, its height offering a clear view of the surrounding scatter terrain. This tower becomes a pivotal focal point in your wargame, influencing strategies and tactics for both sides.
 
For defenders, the watchtower is a critical observation post. Positioned atop it, they gain an advantage, spotting incoming threats from afar. This elevated position allows them to relay vital information to their comrades, enabling coordinated responses. They might also utilize the tower for sniping, targeting key enemy units while staying relatively safe.
  
On the other hand, attackers face the challenge of neutralizing this stronghold. They could employ diversionary tactics, drawing attention elsewhere while sending a unit to scale the tower or breach its defenses. Alternatively, they might use scatter terrain - such as rocks, fallen trees, or abandoned vehicles - for cover as they approach the watchtower. This terrain adds an extra layer of strategy, as players must consider movement options and the element of surprise.

 

Incorporating both the watchtower and scatter terrain creates a dynamic battlefield, fostering intense engagements and promoting creative strategies. This setup not only enhances the gameplay experience but also immerses players in the unfolding story of their skirmishes.
 
 

Scale:
 
Suitable for 25mm, 28mm, 32mm or 35mm. So 1:72, 1:64, 1:52th scale 1/72, 1/64, 1/52.
 
Rooms floor to ceiling are usually 2 1/2 inches, 60mm tall. More than big enough for most figure sizes.
 
Floor scale is 1 inch to 4 feet. Buildings range in size from 20 feet across upwards.
